Kinly, the global provider of AV integration and collaboration services and support, is delighted to announce it has reached Cisco UK Environmental Sustainability Specialisation. This milestone is a testament to our dedication to environmental responsibility and our proactive approach to addressing global sustainability challenges.
We embed our Sustainability by Design principles into all projects we deliver, reducing the impact of our operations and helping our global clients to meet their own ESG goals. To ensure we offer more ecofriendly solutions, we work closely with our partners to identify sustainable improvements. Cisco Environmental Sustainability Specialisation further demonstrates our commitment to building meaningful relationships with partners that drive positive environmental changes.
To be eligible for Specialisation, we were required to have completed training and exams designed to enhance our capabilities in promoting and implementing sustainable practices. Kinly has also proudly signed Cisco’s Sustainability Pledge, supporting the ambitious commitment made by Cisco to achieve 100 per cent product return on end-of-use hardware.
Additionally, we align with Cisco’s broader sustainability goals, which include achieving net zero across global Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions by 2040. In 2023, Kinly committed to the Science Based Targets initiative with our own net zero goals. We will also ensure that 100 per cent of our solutions and packaging incorporate Circular Design Principles by 2025.
With the new specialisation, we can apply Cisco’s Takeback Incentive. This offers clients undergoing refresh, migration and digital transformation projects the opportunity to earn upfront and incremental discounts when end of life hardware is returned to Cisco for responsible reuse or recycling.
