Kinly promotes Jean-Paul Lemmens to VP of Procurement, Product and Strategic Partner Management

Kinly, the global provider of AV integration and collaboration services and support, has today announced that Jean-Paul Lemmens has been appointed the new Vice President of Procurement, Product and Strategic Partner Management for global operations.

Jean-Paul joined the business at the start of 2019 as Global Procurement Director. Over the last five-years, he has played a pivotal role in consolidating Kinly’s manufacturer and supplier ecosystem, improving rebate management and initiating the formation of the Kinly Global Product Board (GPB) and Local Product Councils (LPC).

With more than 30-years’ experience in the AV industry, Jean-Paul is the perfect person to identify the best product partners and manufacturers, ensuring Kinly continuously provides the best technology available to its customers.

In his new role, Jean-Paul will lead the Kinly GPB to ensure global alignment on partner management and procurement. His priority is to work across teams, overseeing the formulation and execution of supplier strategies worldwide and ensuring the successful execution of manufacturing strategies, all whilst fostering global alignment on decision-making.

Speaking on the promotion, Kinly CEO, Tom Martin, said:

“As we continue to consolidate our preferred supplier network and work even closer with our strategic partners worldwide, I am delighted that Jean-Paul has agreed to take on a broader role within Kinly to ensure these initiatives are driven forward.

Successfully implementing decisions taken at product board level requires focus and a wider global mandate that extends to regional delivery. I am confident that the appointment of Jean-Paul will increase knowledge sharing, secure alignment on company goals and allow us to deliver on our global tactical initiatives in 2024.”

Commenting on his promotion, Jean-Paul said:

“I am excited to start in this new role where I will steer the success of our Global Product Board. Through a focus on innovation and a goal to consolidate the landscape of manufacturers, I believe we can make our global strategic partnerships even stronger.

As I start this new venture, I would like to thank everybody at Kinly for their trust in me. I am now five-years into my career at Kinly and my passion only continues to grow.

In this period, we have scaled massively despite various challenges — like Covid— which forced us to pivot and expand our portfolio to ensure we continue to provide the best service to our valuable customers. I am extremely proud of how our procurement, supply chain and partner management teams performed under these circumstances. It is a privilege to work with such an amazing group of skilled people and I look forward to continuing this path of success.”
