Kinly appoints Rhea Horlock as Global Corporate Social Responsibility Lead
Kinly, the global provider of AV integration and collaboration services and support, has today announced that Rhea Horlock has been appointed the company’s Global Corporate Social Responsibility Lead.
Rhea brings 10 years of CSR and environmental expertise to the role, which she will use to spearhead the development and implementation of strategies and policies aligning with Kinly’s ethical, sustainable and environmental responsibilities.
During her career, Rhea has worked on the sustainability teams at some of the UK’s leading organisations including O2, and Royal Mail, with more than three-years in senior leadership roles at NHS Property Services.
Within her new role, Rhea will be responsible for developing and executing a robust CSR strategy that intertwines sustainability, ethical practices and community engagement. She will evaluate project proposals, identify potential partnerships and oversee the seamless execution of CSR endeavours to ensure a tangible, positive impact on local communities and the environment. Collaborating closely with internal teams, she aims to embed sustainability initiatives within Kinly's operations, while keeping the company up to date with the very latest industry best practices.
Speaking on the new appointment, Kinly CEO, Tom Martin, said:
“In today's dynamic business landscape, CSR plays a pivotal role in shaping an organisation's identity and impact on society. At Kinly, we recognise the importance of integrating CSR into our core values and business strategies. We are therefore delighted that Rhea is joining our team to underscore our commitment to advancing sustainable and socially responsible business practices.
Kinly believes that these practices not only benefit the communities we operate in, but also foster employee satisfaction and ensure the long-term sustainability of our business. Rhea brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in developing and implementing CSR initiatives that drive social and environmental change. We look forward to the positive impact she will bring as we continue to strive for excellence in both business and social responsibility.”
Global People Director, Katy Thorpe, added:
“Kinly and our clients have been talking about CSR for a long time and together we have made some positive steps to support one another. It only felt right that we should move this important conversation on with the appointment of a CSR Lead — and this was further cemented when meeting Rhea. Her passion for CSR is evident and is a strong match for Kinly's culture and values.
Rhea will oversee CSR from a global perspective, recognising the positive work we have already put into place while adding further value through new ideas and innovations. I can’t wait to see what she achieves.”
Commenting on her appointment, Rhea said:
“It’s great to be joining Kinly on the journey to becoming a more socially and environmentally sustainable organisation. I was impressed by Kinly’s CSR ambitions, the initiatives they already have in place and their understanding of the benefits that a strong CSR strategy can have on the business.
There’s a fantastic opportunity for the AV industry to create meaningful change through innovation and collaboration. I’m looking forward to working with Kinly’s colleagues, customers and suppliers to develop an impactful approach to CSR.”
