Kinly Becomes a Global Member of Neurodiversity in Business
Kinly, the global provider of AV integration and collaboration services and support, is pleased to announce that it has become the latest global member of Neurodiversity in Business (NiB).
NiB is an international business-led forum functioning as an industry group for organisations to share industry best practice on neurodiversity recruitment, retention and empowerment. Its aim is to create a corporate environment where neurodivergent people are not only understood, but form an invaluable part of the working culture.
Ultimately, the organisation exists to serve as a best-practice business community to improve the working lives of neurodivergent individuals worldwide, helping to unlock the unique and innovative contribution they can bring to the business world and society by sharing indispensable insight for employers, the neurodiverse and the neurotypical.
Membership to NiB is an important step in our journey to creating a working environment which is as inclusive, responsible and welcoming as possible. We have also participated in initiatives to promote neurodiversity in our business including training with ADHD UK.
This was an open format introducing ADHD from the perspective of an employer, how to have a successful conversation about ADHD with an employee and any adjustments that can be made to help. The event was run by the charity’s CEO, Henry Shelford, who focuses on coaching individuals with ADHD to fulfil their full potential.
Speaking on membership to NiB, Katy Thorpe, Global People Director, Kinly, said:
“We are proud to have become a member of NiB. It is one of an important number of undertakings the business is carrying out to meet its ambitious DEI goals in 2024 and beyond. More importantly, it is something our employees asked for in our most recent Kinly DEI survey.
We look forward to working closely with NiB and our partners to ensure we continue to drive a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging for all our current and prospective employees.”
Dan Harris, CEO, Neurodiversity in Business, said:
“We are delighted that Kinly has become a member of NiB. It signals their commitment to ensuring a truly inclusive workplace and a desire to strive for the best in diversity and inclusion standards.
We look forward to working with Kinly and all our members in delivering meaningful change for the neurodivergent across businesses.”
