2024 AV Awards: Kinly Up for Five People, Project and Business Accolades
We are delighted to announce we have been shortlisted as finalists for five accolades at the 2024 AV Awards. These nominations are a testament to our commitment to delivering AV excellence, supporting our global team and driving a culture of inclusivity throughout our organisation, and beyond.
Across the business, people and project categories, we’re up for the Integrator of the Year, AV Professional of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, DE&I Initiative of the Year, and Education Project of the Year awards.
Our nomination for Integrator of the Year comes following a year of business growth where we have focussed on driving innovation, maximising sustainability and ensuring people both in and outside of Kinly feel included, supported and empowered to succeed.
Being considered for the Integrator of the Year wouldn’t be possible without the work of our global team. This makes it especially fitting that two of our talented people have been recognised with further nominations.
APAC Global Services Operations Director, Kagi Lau, has been shortlisted for AV Professional of the Year. Kagi joined Kinly over ten-years ago and has since been a driving force behind our success in the APAC region, spearheading the expansion of our footprint, growing partner relations, and championing a more diverse AV industry.
Leading the charge for Rising Star of the Year is Commissioning Engineer, Ryan Wilkinson. Ryan initially came to Kinly as a placement student on our Graduate Programme and after showcasing his talent for AV engineering, rejoined us permanently last year. Ryan sets the standard for AV excellence, continuously displaying a willingness to take on the toughest challenges and always going above and beyond to deliver his best for clients and colleagues.
This year we have undertaken more diversity, equity and inclusion activities than ever before, culminating in our shortlisting for the DE&I Initiative of the Year award. We are committed to inspiring meaningful change, not just within our own business, but across the entire AV community.
Lastly, our work supporting Tilburg University’s Marga Klompé building, has seen us shortlisted for Education project of the Year. This collaboration provided the university with a greener learning environment where students and lecturers are empowered to thrive through innovative and sustainable AV technology.
In addition to the five nominations, we are proud to have been the integrator for the University of Arts London project which is also nominated for Education Project of the Year.
The winners of the AV Awards will be announced on Friday, 1 November at a gala dinner held at Battersea Evolution, London. Congratulations and good luck to all the talented professionals and fantastic businesses nominated, we can’t wait to celebrate with you.
